What's Wrong With The Rice Krispy Treat
The classic recipe for the Rice Krispy Treat starts with melting marshmallows. Marshmallows, from a bag, are fluffy puffs of sugar. When you melt a marshmallow, the air trapped inside is released. Cereal, sugar syrup from the marshmallow, and melted butter are mixed together and pressed into a block of cereal. You can add more marshmallows at the end, but it's still a block of cereal.
